In my opinion, Brazil, specially Rio de Janeiro, have many problems to be repaired before receive an Olimpic Games.

  1. I agree...
My fear is what would be the Government's approach to the crime preoblem in Rio, because this could generate an even worst civil war than the sadly regular war that's been going on for years. As the organized crime in the Favelas is extremely organized and better armed than the police or military forces, not even mentinong the power they indulge over the Favela population much conquered through their populism, any violent confrontation would end up badly and with plenty innocent casualties.
So, the question is: will the Olympic Games be another excuse for corruption or the implementation of absurd temporary "solutions", such as building even greater walls than Gaza's arround the favelas, or will it be taken as a fantastic opportunity to solve majour social problems?
